JOB PROFILE 

Job Title : Senior MIS Officer
Location : Head Office, Yangon

Reports to : Deputy MIS Manager
Job Purpose

The role is responsible and accountable for all aspects of MIS operations including system design, implementation, deployment, maintenance, support training and reporting (data retrieval and production of data reports) work related to MIS projects/systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 1st Level support for MIS related systems
  • Create and update rules and product templates in accordance with the updated orders and policy
  • Develop SQL scripts for the customized report and work with the team to ensure all the scripts data are correct
  • Support and solve system errors and work with the software vendor if needed
  • Handle the user errors, complaints and concerns
  • Supervise MIS users from branches and head office
  • Collaborate with the users from the other teams to understand the report requirements and data accuracy and validity in the reports
  • Respond to ad hoc information requirements/reports from the internal departments
  • Assist the MIS specialist in preparing MIS reports for the monthly FRD reports and the ad-hoc reports requested by the regulators and the internal team
  • Lead and deliver MIS training for new staffs/ new system features and  prepare training materials and the user manuals
  • Under take other ad-hoc assigned tasks

 PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Usage
  • Proficient in developing SQL scripts for the customized reports from the large datasets
  • Good interpersonal skill and presentation skill
  • Can work independently and with team
  • Effective communication skills and able to communicate in English if required
  • Able to work under challenging situation with minimum supervision
  • Possess ‘Can do’ attitude
  • Able to travel if require
